Following on from your basic Sidemount training you will learn new techniques for advanced buoyancy, complex dive planning and gas management, dealing with lines and lights as used in overhead environments and push your personal skill set in more challenging situations.

The sidemount configuration is best used in overhead environments and at Mexico underground we strongly recommends gaining certification as an advanced sidemount trained diver prior to starting your cave or wreck training using a Sidemount configuration.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper planning, procedures, techniques and hazards when using Sidemount configuration. Including rig setup and streamlining, cave control, balance & Buoyancy, finning techniques, cylinder manipulation, dealing with emergencies are all coved in our curriculum.

At Mexico Underground we run the advanced Sidemount course over 5 days

The class fee includes logistics and training materials, we highly recommend purchasing and owning your own equipment for sidemount diving but can rent equipment to students if required for use during your cavern and cave training.
