MEXICO UNDERGROUND & TDI HELETROX DIVER
The TDI Helitrox course is designed to allow divers to use Helium in their breathing mixtures for dives between 30m-45m. The course has been introduced into the curriculum as an alternative to the TDI Decompression Procedures course for anyone diving beyond 30m who would prefer to use Helium based breathing mixture rather than Air. Adding helium on challenging and cold water dives has become more and more popular especially within the rebreather community. The course can be taught on its own or combined with TDI Advanced Nitrox course.
The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45m. Students are allowed to use Enriched Air and Nitrox and Helium mixes with no greater than 20% Helium and no less than 21% Oxygen content as well as up to 100% Oxygen for decompression diving if combined with Advanced Nitrox.
We can run decompression procedures in the ocean or one of the many cenotres here in Mexico.
At Mexico Underground we run Decompression procedures Stand alone over 4 days or combined with Advanced Nitrox over 6 days
The class fee includes logistics and training materials, we highly recommend purchasing and owning your own equipment for technical diving but can rent equipment to students if required for use during your training.
